Does Cinemations actually build the theaters, or are they a middle-man for another company?
Cinemations Home Theaters is the builder for all elements of the theater. We build everything in our West Palm Beach facility and transport the completed theater to the customer's location for installation.

Does Cinemations travel outside of Florida?
Yes. We are fully capable of building, delivering, and installing our theaters nation-wide.

Is there a difference between sound-absorption and sound-proofing for a home theater?
Yes. Sound-absorption refers to the interior of the theater, and how sound reflection is handled within the room. Sound-proofing refers to the level of sound that can be escaped from the theater and heard in other rooms. Cinemations offers expert solutions for both scenarios of sound control.

Can I watch more than just movies in a home theater?
Yes. Today's technology allows for just about anything you can view on a television to be viewed on a projector in a home theater setting. Game consoles (PS3, XBox,etc...), Satellite TV, Cable, Blu-Ray, Movie Servers, Internet, etc... are all items that can be enjoyed from the home theater room.

What is the smallest room size that can comfortably accommodate at home theater?
The number of seats needed will usually play a large part in the size space needed for a theater. We have installed theaters in rooms 12' wide x 16' length. This is a comfortable size for seating of up to 7 lounger/reclinable chairs.

Are projectors really as nice as televisions?
Televisions are usually bright and vivid with colors due to the relatively small-size screen, when compared to the average projection screen size. Ambient light usually has little to do with the output quality of televisions. Projectors tend to perform best with low-levels of ambient light (the lesser the better), and can produce incredible quality images on very large screens if lighting is kept to a minimum. .
